Trying Xteeener's "Bright Fun Tropical Eyes"

This was made for Jinahchae's 2nd contest. I am redoing Xteener's "Bright Fun Tropical Eyes" with only drugstore products (with the exception of my foundation). Hope you enjoy! I worked hard on editing! This is my second tutorial video ever and it's really odd seeing myself making these weird faces, but I had fun. :D

Products:
Foundation
- Clinique clarifying makeup clear skin formula in "02 fresh cream" (used as a concealer)
- Clinique stay matte sheer pressed powder oil-free in "03 stay beige"

Eyes:
- Almay Bright Eyes Shimmer Pearls Eyeshadow in "Over the Rainbow" (used as a primer for the lids)
- Covergirl Eye Enhancers quad in "Tropical Fusion"
- Physician Formula Eye Definer in "Midnight Black"
- Maybelline the COLOSSAL Volum' Express mascara in "Classic Black"

Cheeks:
- Revlon A Floral Affair sheer powder blush in "460 Hushed Blush"

Lips:
- Revlon Mix & Mingle lip palette in "275 Caramelt"

why doesn't the colors shine out?

It's really bright in real life but I was using my computer camera for this video, so the quality and lighting didn't do it justice. The palette that I used has really loud colors in real life and I highly recommend it. :)

thank you so much Lindseeahn. My tip for looking good with any lip color is putting a teeeeeny bit of concealer around the rim of the lips so that the color blends naturally with the skintone :)

I usually use MAC makeup brushes, but for the purpose of this contest, I wanted to just stick to this contest I wanted to stick to JUST drugstore products....believe me, it was difficult! :)
