The Unpredictable. Well this magnet wheel test is the first test since my first 1st magnet wheel in 1974. It is a non runner but it is kind of interesting. It will run one way and the stop and run the other or it just stops. In the video I bumped it when it looked like it was going to run backwards.

the reason these designs and ideas get knocked is that there's no maths for predicting in advance where to put what strength magnets, so that after an initial push it does indeed keep going (one way, then the other way, etc).

inventors just make things based on ideas. but the way the known principals are taught makes some people that learn them think they are a. gospel and b. the be all and end all, ie that you can't build or design something without knowing the maths first. as if!
