The final launch of the Space Shuttle Endeavour on STS-134 as recorded from NASA's Kennedy Space Center Press Site. This is the second to last launch of the Space Shuttle Program. Shot using a Sony HDR-SR11, a GoPro HD Hero for a wide 170 degree field of view and a Zoom H2 Digital stereo recorder for audio. Endeavour carried up the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer and other supplies to the International Space Station on May 16th. Turn up your volume and listen to the thunder and crackle as the Solid Rocket Boosters and Space Shuttle Main Engines carry Endeavour and crew to orbit!

  • Go America.

  • AWESOME!! I am actually wanting to do something similar with the gopro and the Zoom H2 for STS-135. What settings did you shoot and record at?

  • Incredible sound, nice to hear the radio for context. The two views are great too. Thanks for sharing! I have a better idea of what my brother got to witness in person (if only a hundredth of the awe!)

  • That was so amazing, The sound blew me away. Thank you so much Davidgojr., For sharing this awesome video. Peace,,,,

  • Wow! Those rocket engines sound awesome! I was there for Discovery at KSC but we didn't get quite the same volume as you had at the press site. I would have loved to have seen a launch from the press site or VIP area.
