@spikeybeast28 Late reply, but Armed Offenders Squad (New Zealand SWAT)

LDV now replaced by a new AOS VW it seems - in fact all the old vans have been replaced with new VW ones.
-
I have one of these old LDV vans, an ex SAS unit, it is a V8. It goes like hell since I pulled the restrictors out from under the carbs and exhaust, quite a cool old van.

What a Cool video

that blue one i believe is search groups.
Yeah central is packed, downtown isnt so shame they took our only 2 marked cars.
But we need the vans.
What is your direct email address
-
I am not to sure.
All I know is that currently we have 3 tp vans plus AOS.
Because there are 3 TPU sections thats why we need 2 even though all 3 never work at once.
The shittiest of the vans has gone to DT, and exchange we had to give up 2 of our 3 vehicles the 2 marked ones, so now we have the van, tp and one unmarked. the reason we had to loose the 2 cars is because this 10% of cop cars off the rd so auckland looses 22 cars, 2 from downtown.
auckland will get 3 new TP vans anf then the AOS will get one of the present ones and when DTS old one fucks outs we will get the other one.
I think they will be mercedes

Oh sweet. I've seen one of those new Merc Sprinters around Central, blue one with roof racks and a trailer. Would that be a crime unit? Bummer about losing 10% of cars, what a dumb idea. Though come to think of it, the garage at Central always seems to be full.

They are getting rid of that soon.
They are getting 3 new trucks - one tp van has gone to downtown and they have lost 2 of their cars leaving them with only the silver unmarked car and they will replace that one aswell

Not surprised, its one of the oldest vehicles in the fleet. Will the LDVs all be replaced with VWs?

the sirens sound like one on some of the US fire trucks and ambulances

You're probably right, I'm sure I've heard this siren elsewhere on YouTube, but not on any other current Auckland vehicle. Its unique in that the wail is uneven - every second cycle sounds slightly longer and higher, so you can easily pick it out just by the sound.
