JRT's are a type of dog that they can almost read your mind once you create that bond with them...Best dogs in the world if you ask me..Thanks for the Video rkawell great Job!!!!

yep it's true JRT's are hard to train but that's only because they are very stubborn dogs. Once you figure out what your JRT likes for a reward it's all easy from there. Our Lady loves Chicken or Turckey...so I treat her with real chicken or turckey from there it's pretty easy....JRT's love to learn and will be hard to handle if you don't exercise that litle brain of their's :-)

@bax450 It takes time, espec with JRs, just simply lift his paw, praise him give him the treat, then once he's got that, do the same but add the command 'paw' or 'shake', then finally start just handing your hand out saying paw and assoon as he puts his paw up praise and treat. (:

My jack russell is a slow learner you could say, he will do a command perfectly about 20 times- and then forget it, is maggie a pure JR? A characteristic of pure JRS are folded ears

I have a Jack Russel too.. but this are very cool tricks , and hard to train.
