  • @truthspeaker969

    Ask the gouverment not the troops (;

  • for someone born in 93 i really can't remember a time when our country was not at war. kind of sad, but o well.what can i do besides donate my money and prayer.

  • you should feel ashamed of yourself tell all those 3000 families to their faces & see what response you get

  • the biggest difference is viet was a conscription army and Irak is volunteers

    and mercenairies...,

    so apart from the fact that every human suffering is tragic, I can´t feel really sorry for this 3000 troops who died, they just payed the price for what they did

  • What a coward you are. you wouldn't say something like this to the families like mine who have young men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. If you think war is some sort of video game, sign your ass up and get on the front line yourself and we'll see if you say "boo fucking hoo" you little bitch.

  • US maybe lost "only" 3,000 men, but how many iraq civilians lost they lives...

  • When the US lost had their first casualties in Vietnam, Major Dale R. Buis and Master Sargeant Chester M. Ovnand in 1954 it took another 11 years to pass the 3000 mark. In Iraq we've managed it in 4 years. perhaps we can do some comparisons in 7 years time, when I presume not only will we still be there but our presence will have grown exponentially

  • While I disagree with the war in Iraq, I do not think that it has much in common with the war in Vietnam. In vietnam the US lost some 58,000 men. In Iraq, we have lost 3,000 men. In Vietnam, we were fighting a structered army with comanders (along with the viet cong) In Iraq, we are fighting insurgents.
