bhudisim had come a long way. but yes it is true that early kids like this pass away and don't get reincarnate will live on until its their time is due. some will stay in the place where they die and may haunt that place. thai buddism gather these spiritual kids and give them to home. as much as i see this, i think those child should be kept at the temple and not given away as they mabe use for bad deeds.

If the owner decides to do bad deeds, the child spirit will not be able to reincarnate and karma will befall the owner as well. in order for the child spirit to gain merits, he/she will protect the owner. No blood is offered except sweets and etc. Some kumanthongs have been said to return to the monk when they followed bad owners. I do not own one but I do understand how they run these stuff in thailand. Wouldn't hurt to do a research on this. Different ppl, different beliefs.

What most of you fail to understand in Thevarada Buddhism is that the Child who died an early death, accidents and such will not get to reincarnate. All Buddhism believes in reincarnation but then the Thais went a step further into helping the child spirit who are stuck in this world. Hence, they gather the lonely child spirits whom did not get to reincarnate into the amulets and the owner will take good care of it and hopefully gather enough merits to reincarnate.

This is black magic and monks are suppose to be pure and untainted. Don't get involve with such matters. Run the opposite direction if you see this. In this modern day and age, black magic still exists. If you have a use for this, you are already in trouble. Let fate and destiny run its course--everything happens for a reason. Having this will only prolong it and making it worse.
