My 3rd DC-9 Flight of this day. The clip includes boarding, powerback, taxiing and departure at the Detroit Metro Airport.
Sorry for the sound on takeoff, the DC-9 was a bit too loud for the mircophone of my camcorder :-)
Relax and enjoy this wonderful flight.

  • These are my favourite old birds, Air Canada DC9's and 727's are what I grew up with, I'll always love the old school 60's jets the most.

  • i LOVE the powerback! too bad they dont use it more often...

  • Does this ever bring back memories! Thanks for sharing.

  • Anytime i see NWA at airport I cant help but think odf the rap group lol

  • alot of times the pilots use acceleration to move and let the weight of the plane slow it down and then accelerate again to keep this practice keeps the brakes cool. If the load is light and the engines are idling high enough it is possible to coast from the gate with out advancing the thrust levers.

  • ok r yu a flight marshall or something?

  • way more, unless he/she is talking about NWA

  • i have been one from indianaapolis to MSP
