  • Really interesting video, the Carlton was probably 4 mins walk from my nannas house, and i would say this is the place where i caught the bug of loving cinema and film.

Although you wouldnt know it from the films i watched, Men In Black probably being my most vivid memory of that cinema, along with Star Wars ep1, and Minority Report.

  • I bet that takes just an extra few minutes to lace-up because you have to, hmm, how do you get the film up! Tire string around the print and drag it up! Then thread it though the projector and drop it down to the cake plate lol. Oh, its (Steve) the spider web lacer. lol

  • Wow, yes indeed that is impressive kinder like an IMAX cinema that has the projector hoisted up 10 15 feet while the cake plate reminds below. LOL I think you like Fred, I like it too I am really impressed with that shot of thinking Rodney did. Like my former chief projectionist said in this business you have to think like a projectionist now then!

  • Its Spider, again! Is thats his nickname in the booth? lol I guess he can web-up a projector in no time. lol Nice mellow music and the red LED on the FP30 very nice.

I noticed the print on the platter, Return to Neverland so this had to been around March 2002 then? I checked the imdb I see Spider has friend at 5:36 lol whoa! watch that overhang! BANG! lol Id put some foam over that overhang on the edge, if you banged your head!

  • Very good Video, keep up the good work!.

So has Spoolbox Productions moved to Paris or is this a 2nd Studio?.
