What: Driving Diary (12 month experimental project)
Where: South Australia
Why: To record 12 months of my life driving, and in the process reflect on my own driving behaviour and to possibly highlight how other ppl's behaviours can impact negatively on us. Accidents can be so easily avoided.
Observation(s):
1) Just starting out on my journey and I notice what appears to be a stray dog. I turn to try and catch him/her to keep safe until morning (I do this regularly, the dog rescue that is) and it turned out to be a koala instead making its way from tree to tree.
2) Bin fire in the city, being put out by local residents. These are quite dangerous, as they tend to set everything else around it on fire too.
3) Fire appliance en route to the bin fire (it was well put out by the time I had left that street, so it seems all too much all too late) but I guess they have to attend anyway.
Conditions: Good
Date/Time: Tuesday, 16 Dec 2008, around 0200
Location: Adelaide CBD
Sound: I only keep one CD in the car and change that weekly, so there will be some repetition. GPS also makes a few sounds and audible directions.
This is for educational (not punitive) purposes, it is my belief that citizens shouldn't police other citizens.
