The date was April 26, 1986 at the Riviera Lanes in Fairlawn, Ohio for the $250,000 Firestone Tournament of Champions. The championship match featured Marshall Holman, who won the Firestone 10 years earlier, and Mark Baker. Baker qualified for the Firestone by winning the King Louie Open a month earlier in the famous match vs. Walter Ray Williams Jr, where everyone was missing spares, etc. The championship match featured a little bit of everything in bowling. First prize was $50,000 to the winner. With a win, Holman would top the Million dollar mark for career winnings. Sit back, and join Chris Schenkel and Nelson Burton, Jr. for the call.

Last I checked, it does. AMF owns it now, and the PBA hosted two tournaments at AMF Riviera in '04 and '05.
