Found this from your post on adafruit, dont have an account there yet so just wanted to comment here.
Great job with the wave sheild and excellent idea combining it with the Mario custom, now when you jump in will make the "jumping" noise, thats great!, you might want to add another sensor so when you move your hand really fast it has the throwing fire ball sound LOL.

Thanks. The code and costume is mostly finished now and will post another video soon. I actually expanded it a bit so that the fireball works on 2 hands plus a party mode where the lights turn on and off as i need them.
