I had a question in one of my recent blog posts about how I live the life that I do ... the question wasn't really about how I can afford it, it was more to do with how I have enough confidence to take the plunge. What I didn't mention in this video was that it took me until I was 30 before I began traveling alone (which may seem quite late!!!). I honestly had a big fear in my twenties of traveling by myself and never thought I would do it. But all of a sudden not long after my 30th birthday, something in me just changed and it was as though I HAD to travel alone... so that it when the real adventures begun.

So if you're feeling a little afraid or apprehensive but will love to get out and see the world more, perhaps when the time is right then you'll feel right about it too.

  • You dont need to go anywhere to work on your shadow.

  • @TheSacredBalance True, but Australia is now officially the most expensive country in the world to live so it's difficult to have the time to do both there

  • Great video. When you say you are working on your "stuff" what do you mean by that? Are you working with a shaman or plant medicines? I am curious to know more. I have done work with Ayahuasca and plan on traveling to Peru one day to meet with a traditional shaman and experience the culture and the nature and animals.

  • Where did you travel to first alone?

  • Thank you for sharing. You're inspiring.

  • Thanks for the vid! You mentioned that people work on themselves while there. I am wondering, are there any spiritual/holistic centers there like in the US or are you talking more in general, that is individual?

  • Your skin has been looking really good in Peru!!

  • Well many blessings to you on your travels!

  • Gorgeous kitten. How about calling it Peru? ;)

  • Hi Fran! Where exacly are you in Peru? I am extremely interested in coming and, as you said, working on myself. My e-mail adress is seerat_uppal@yahoo.com. Please e-mail me with some information and any other insight you can offer. I love your videos and appreciate them dearly! thank you!
