I first tried the Mongolian BBQ when I was in Raleigh, North Carolina and a few months ago I have been craving for some of this stir fried goodness. Unfortunately, the only mongolian bbq we have in philly are those that chinese buffet offers which is really not the real deal.
Watch this video so you'll get to see how a real monglian place looks like. And watch the cook in red shirt (the one facing you) and watch how he breaks the eggs.
Where: BD Mongolian BBQ at Bethesda, MD
When: Memorial Weekend 2010
Price: $18 for the all-you-can-eat
Verdict: I like the one I had in Raleigh, North Carolina because the sauces are better but if you want to experience this type of food, it's definitely a-must try.
hate that place

This isn't real Mongolian barbeque. This actually is based off some Japanese style of cooking. If you want to try real Mongolian barbeque, you need to go visit Mongolia.

I just wanted to say I went to BD's yesterday, and there must've been over one hundred people already eating when I sat down, and plenty around the grill, same amount of food on the grill, and It was only one guy cooking it, damn I should've given him a better tip because of the two bowls I ate, and the third I took home for todays lunch, nothing was overcooked, and it was all excellent. Poor fkn guy.

They always accomodated my food allergy needs with service and a smile, never had a problem, and their selection of menu items is vast, more than any other Mongollan barbecue place I've ever visited.
