Back in the day when you had to go to a store to pick up a VHS tape to watch a movie you had to brave the weather, unless you ordered pay per view. This was just a scrambled channel playing one feature over and over. You called the cable company(this is before satellite) and paid to view a certain channel. after a couple of minutes, voila you could see the movie. However you had to wait for its showtimes so if you ordered it half way thru, you had to wait until it started again.
