  • 'as your slave, or your friend if you don't have any slaves...' how improper for a Roman man of dignity to be without slaves! The horror!

  • @dragondancer02 Girls didn't wear laurel wreaths in Greece or Rome. They were symbols of conquest and power and victory (the prize for a winner in the olympic games or a Roman conquering general) and thus, it was improper for women to wear them.
