Rule #1 in combat: Never take your eyes off your opponent. Rule #2: Always keep your guard up. Victor Ortiz failed to follow both of those rules. Therefore Victor Ortiz got knocked out. If what Floyd did what against any rules, it would've been a disqualification. But he took advantage of the fact that Ortiz was waiting on the ref for whatever reason. MMA is where its at. Boxing is dead unless Manny and Floyd fight.

Look, the Ref is 2 blame as well. He didn't control the situation. He wasn't even looking at the fighters. He needs to do what Richard Steele does & drops his hand saying fight. Mayweather was wrong. Ortiz looks to the Ref after the first punch as to say, Hey he just hit me are we fighting? Both his hands at his side and Void, I mean Floyd, hits him again. Mayweather has no class, but the Ref must take responsibility 4 not controlling it. RIGHT ON LARRY!!!
