Kvintus is an agent-based model based on the software package REPAST. Recreationalists (walkers, runners, mountain bikers etc.) can be simulated along with animals (e.g. roe deer).

At runtime the agents are visualised on GoogleMaps.

Legend:
Yellow square: Jogger (10 km/h, prefers marked trails)
Circles: Roe deer
- green and blue: various stages in eating and searching for food
- red: is scared by a jogger.
- white: Searching for hiding place
- black: Hiding

  • Hi im doing a university project involving agent based modelling, and I was wondering if you know if it's possible to use google earth in repast and also implement the street data that exists in google earth? So for example if you had an agent that was a car, could you have it follow the GIS street data in google earth using repast? There is very little info about stuff like this so any help/advice would be much appreciated
