  • Anthony Hamilton could sing the phone book and make it sound soulful.

  • Sounds like something you play at a family gathering when the kids are outside playing and its just the grown folks around. The wine flows like water.

  • I love the movie American Gangster, but this song stuck out to me for some reason! :)

  • MY MAN!!!

  • Thanks to american gangster ive found this :D

  • fairfieldalabama im in total agreement and it reminds me of them days back in Cali when we would chase one another down the street and the Pimps and Big'ums would just say hey wha'cha yourself and "go on boy get goin from here"

One of them cuts you just wish they would revise most of today music to emulate the great missed music

  • I love it!!! Reminds me of Super Bad by James Brown.

  • you know i am a 70's kid and i tell ya,i remember the parties my mama had on the weekends..i miss that life..no parties like that anymore..this type of music omg..get it boy!!!!!!!

  • you know this is right. how old is hamilton..? this talks to me in some soul hero way...!

  • They don't really have a whole lot of music like this out there anymore these days. love it.

  • Recorded By – Gabriel Roth, Jim Caruana Viola – Karen Dreyfus Mixed By – Rod Hui Bass – Nick Movshon Organ – Victor Axelrod Arranged By [Strings] – Willie Mitchell Producer – Hank Shocklee Drums – Homer Steinweiss Guitar – Bill Sims, Frank Stribling, Thomas Brenneck Vocals – Anthony Hamilton Cello – Eileen Moon Saxophone [Baritone Sax] – Jared Tankel Saxophone [Tenor Sax] – Neal Sugarman Violin – Sandra Park, Sharon Yamada Trumpet – Jeff Pierce
  • Southern soul at it's best ...sounding like the Bar-kays/stax house band and a touch of James Brown. Willie Mitchell strings.

Arranged By [Strings] – Willie Mitchell
