Spritzzup's comments: Hey, this is the illustrator here, just to leave a few words. I don't actually have a Youtube account of my own so it's uploaded to this one (whose owner was responsible for the video editing). My thanks goes out to him for not repeatedly punching me in the face and also to friends who gave general support and advice for the production of this music video.

My love for Portal 2 and appreciation of the song prompted me to enter this contest. I aimed to capture the mood of the song as best as I could with an art style that was heavily inspired by the Lab Rat comic. I digitally painted all 70 of the scenes in the video, which took around 50 hours of work (excluding a large amount of time planning and redoing the sequences). Though I had no prior experiences with animation at all, I really gave it my best shot and I hope you will enjoy my interpretation of The National's piece, Exile Vilify.
