This is the closest thing to Matt Smith's theme because off the ending of the middle 8, before the middle 8 of this tune starts, it obvious this must have been in mind when the new theme was composed.

you do know you've just posted the 8th Doctor's title sequence? (just missing McGann's voiceover) It's bad enough trying to sift through all the fake and fan made opening titles to find the real one without someone trying to fob us off with an earlier one. That said I have always had a soft spot for this arrangement ... New one is better though.

@TARDISDOWNUNDER oh i know, that's what i'm looking forward to this series. I think Matt Smith will do great. People are complaining that they're using a younger actor to play the doctor to atract a younger audiance. it was originally designed as a kids show, it just happend to appeal to adaults as well. they need to stop complanin about it and get there head round things.

I knew David Tennant would be successful at being the new Doctor, I wasn't too keen on Christopher eccleston and the leather jacket costume which wasn't like Doctor Who at all, it was kind of put together without a care for detail without reference to the edwardian gentleman or smartly dress hero The Doctor is, although I don't like most of series two what was kind of a washout which wasn't really a good start to the 10th doctor's time, some of the stories were a big let down.
