Its interesting....in the U.k we have a soap called Corination St. about 10 years ago they introduced a new transexual character, but the part was played by a non trans woman , which to me was like having a white actor playing the part of a black person with boot polish on their face, its so cool they used real trans people here.
Well done! Most truthful scene I've seen on a daytime soap. Fellow with the goatee in the blue shirt is David Harrison, New York actor, very nice guy.
Please, don't thank me. *Hugs you back anyway* It shouldn't have to be something so rare...just pure acceptance. Still, you're 1000% correct; the world WOULD be a better, safer, happier place if people weren't just so outright cruel & hateful. God bless.
It's amazing...that these people have so much strength to deal with the disgusting prejudice that comes their way, all because they want to be who they are inside & have it reflect to their outsides. Seeing this for the first time, all I want to do is reach out to them...Zoe & the rest...and hug them tightly, tell them that they ARE worth being loved & treated like anyone else. Why are people so horribly cruel, just because they don't...or won't...understand something?

Thanks, hon. If more people thought the way you do, then it would be a safer place for people like me.... for all of us. *hugs*
