This song holds special memories for me as it was the first song I ever danced to in public. I was 11 and loved it. Great single and still sounds fresh today !

i was 17 at the time when this tune was in the charts. i went up to liverpool with some of my mates for a long weekend . my sister was up there in uny ( university in english) ! and we called in to see her . the youth that took us was from liverpool , and wanted to look up relatives he'd not seen in years. i remember we all got the ferry across to new brighton and went round the fun fair . geno by dexy's was booming out all over the fair . the place was crawlin with fanny . grrr8 times !
