Vidcon 2010 - good idea or bad idea?

So, a 3 day convention has been organised to be held in Los Angeles in July 2010. The fact that this costs money this had made some people think it's a scam or simply not a community-focussed idea. I never bumped into you before, you just happened to be related video-based from another vidcon video but I enjoyed this vlog, being discussion-oriented about the convention, at a time when it was still many months away.

I would have enjoyed seeing some of the non-big Youtubing panels, about copyright for example, and when you pay for something, you get a real organization behind it.
