The Top 40 charts are created by the listeners, because its whatever songs are requested more, bought more, etc; Of course a forty year old will want to listen to the Smashing Pumpkins more than Selena Gomez, it's a matter of personal taste. But twelve year old girls are extremely disillusioned with 'perfect' looks so Disney, who has the formula down of creating franchises, puts out seemingly flawless role models with bad music.

but i think its reaally funny when you turn on the radio, hear a song, then switch stations and its the same song.
