Bummer... Test delayed again... It was a very nice event, well organized and I liked the AM narrative. I'm sure you took a good loss on all the police, drinks, posters, and extra staff, but I look forward to going again when it's time. PLEASE POST AS SOON AS YOU CAN WITH NEW DATE, thank you.

I read that as well, I have read many articles about Ares and Constellation. Good and bad. What it all comes down to is money. We could put a man on the moon much earlier than 2028 if we could get a larger budget. The Augustine Commission this afternoon stated the same thing. All I know is come August 25 the DM-1 motor will fire marking a huge milestone in the Ares program and in October Ares I-X will amrk another huge milestone.

Thanks so much, see you there!

You will take exit 365 off of I-15 head west on UT 83. There will be signs telling you how far to ATK which is where the test will be. If you just stay on UT 83 you will come to our test area which will be well marked with signs. The Utah Highway Patrol will also be on hand to assist with traffic. The test stand this booster will be from is on the side of the mountain, it will be marked with a large American flag. The test will happen at 1:00 p.m. I recommend you get there early.

Thanks!!! Do I just go west and look for the first building? Or the crowd of people? More specific instructions would be helpful...
The ATK and NASA investigation team has identified the issue that resulted in the scrub of last weeks test. A component of the ground controller unit, which sends power to the system that moves the nozzle during the test, had failed and has been replaced. Testing to validate the corrective actions is underway and will continue into the weekend, and the test has been rescheduled for Thursday, September 10 at 1 p.m. MDT.

I read on the Orlando Sentinel that Constellation Orion will not be able to put men on the moon earlier than 2028, maybe only by 2035.

Cool video. Thanks for posting it in high definition. Is the 25 August 2009 date fairly solid? Do you anticipate much slippage? Looking forward to the engine test either way!
