What world will miss. Dam was certainly the most talent at his art. No other person has blended so many great stylish rock songs with superb, deep, thoughtful lyrics before. Man I truly miss him! I have always said that the best artist never are recognized for the their accomplishments until they pass. Only descent ones get all the glory, fame and notoriety while they are still living and 95% of their song the lyrics are shallow and empty of heart felt meanings like Dan's songs.

I love this song. I play Dan Fogelberg's music every day. I am sorry that the genius that was his musical ability has gone on to heaven. What he must be creating there... I miss you, Dan. God's blessings to all those who he loved.

I love it when we got to see Dan's amazing talent on his electric guitar. Many didn't get to see him picking and this video is an opportunity to enjoy that.

Dan was and is so underrated. Not only as a songwriter but -- as this clip shows a guitarist. RIP, Dan.

I knew he was a great songwriter and singer...never really knew he rocked as well. Great guitarist. He is missed..never got to see him live in concert. One of my greatest losses.

I was lucky enough to see Dan 7 times, 6 in Colorado, and the last was in 2002 in Las Vegas. I will never forget that show, my wife was pregnant with my first born, and Dan broke a string, and the string flipped up and cut his eyebrow, he began bleeding, but just finished the song, it was awesome. Never in my life has a complete stranger had such an impact in my life. He is missed, but not forgotten, both of my kids have his songs on their IPODS, lol.
This was the peak too: Dan's high-water mark, when he was everything to everyone for a magical season; except the pretentious Grammy secret society of followers. We appreciate what he was and what he did--most will never know...an unchallenged summation of songs, melodies, harmonies, lyrics, arrangements, musicianship, performance; if all he did was sing songs someone else wrote he would have been great, but that he did it all, at such a young age. Who else did so much in our generation?
