In my opinion, the finest soprano in the world today. The shere quality of the voice, the phrasing etc makes many current ultra hyped sopranos sound like complete amateurs at best. Don't think I need to mentioned any names if you know anything about singing.

A glorious performance of a very difficult aria. The voice has a wonderful shimmer and gleam. Technically she has everything that is necessary for a great career--I hope Europeans who have had more of her have appreciated a truly great singer.

Absolutely breathtaking. She is a true artist. It amazes me that she is not as well known as other sopranos.

Tonight, the great Jim Svedja (KUSC classical music host) is interviewing Isokoski and playing her cds for five hours (7 p.m. to midnight). Her speaking voice is lovely as is her lilting accent in English. What a treat I'm in for tonight. Her Mozart is first rate.

This lady is complete and utter perfection. What an inspiration. No histrionics or vanities to herself as a performer; she never fails to show you honestly and truthfully the composer's intentions. I saw her sing the Countess in Figaro at the ROH two weeks ago and I was moved to tears by the beauty in her performance. Her Dove Sono is second to none.

"Exquisite" "perfection" what else can be said? She is thousands of times better than Fleming in all the rep that they share.
I just love how she makes it sound like this is not hard.
