IBM laid off approximately 3000 Full time (regular) people across the US this month. They have moved many of these jobs offshore. This week they announced to the sub contractor work force that they are cutting their pay by 14%. If that is ID8ing they can keep it. Where is this in the news?

Unfortunately, now that IBM have moved the computer industry forward for so many years, all these other new companies have just taken over and everyone has forgotten all about them. Their servers are still doing well, but their Lenovo PC range seems to be failing :(.

think you'll find that IBM sold their PC business to Lenovo in Dec 2004 and have no connection with them anymore. Also Industry analysts place IBM as the leader in most of their magic quadrants so they may have been forgotten about by home users but not by businesses.

It's actually Lenovo's pc range, they bought it about five years ago.
