HRT iStreamer:
The iStreamer is a high performance audio interface that allows an
Apple iPadTM, iPhone® or iPod® and a home entertainment system to
become perfect partners. With an iStreamer connected, you can enjoy
true CD quality sound with the convenience of having all your music on
one device.
Simply plug your iPad, iPhone or iPod into the iStreamer; plug the
iStreamer into its included power supply and your home entertainment
system. From the iPod 'App' on iPad or iPhone or directly on iPod
simply push 'play' and enjoy unmatched sound quality and convenience.
With its ultra high performance circuitry and host mode of operation
(eliminating interface jitter) , the iStreamer renders the CD player and
CD library obsolete. For the first time, you can enjoy a level of sound
quality never before possible from a portable audio device.
The iStreamer provides full support for applications designed to run on
an iPad, iPhone or iPod. The iStreamer allows you to connect to a home
entertainment, television or stereo system to listen in high quality to
Internet radio, streaming music and movies from providers such as
RhapsodyTM, NapsterTM, PandoraTM, NetflixTM and other on-line services.

  • so fuckin boringgggg.. 11:55 minutes... yo can show all that in less then 3 minutes...

  • This video went viral on Pristina

  • You forgot to show us the script you unboxed before you turned on the camera, "I'm very pleased with the HRT quality", "I know I'll never wear this out"..... you haven't even powered it up, or let us see that it works.... Maybe this is a great product but it's pretty obvious this is nothing but a commercial.

  • This video went viral on Manama

  • @s0Ez3 Yes, and that's exactly what I intend on doing with it!

  • Would it be beneficial hooking one of these up with an iPod connected to Audioengine A5's?

  • @juman2311 You actually don't need to try and find a way to use the HRT iStreamer for your PC! They make a USB DAC (the HRT Music Streamer II) strictly for PC and MAC! That's actually how they got started, making USB DACs, the iStreamer was just introduced last December! The HRT Music Streamer II is $149.95 - and it derives it's power from the USB bus (and regenerates it to keep the noisefloor down). It's a KILLER piece

  • i really want one. but im poor and im young :( sucks to have to wait till im older to be able to listen to good sound :(

  • Deckhanddavy, do you know if it's possible to use the istreamer with a regular pc by using a regular male a to male a usb cable?

  • I've owned the Wadia since the 170 (and they literally invented the outboard DAC as a high end components YRS ago - they're friends) - there's little doubt you CAN use your own DAC (legacy product, whichever you like) w/ the Wadia - and they opened the doors for these products - but its a different product altogether: It's a DOCK, like HRT says, they make DACs, not DOCKs, & for $199.95, you get a GREAT product in Kevin Halverson's engineering (of Muse Electronics fame)
