A tutorial/mod for gamers to change the Sanwa JLF joystick/fightstick's square gate/restricter plate to the Sanwa GT-Y Octagon gate/restricter plate vice versa. Example used is a Madcatz Arcade Fightstick TE. Enjoy!

  • Awesome vid!! Have any clue if the GT-Y Octagon plate will work with the Hori Arcade Pro for PS3?

  • @edeyie Erm, I'm not sure what the Hori Arcade Pro uses for the stick. You probably can google around ans see if the stick uses the KLF Sanwa Joystick. If it does, you can definitely install the gate!

  • where u buy the gate ?

  • @Alien034 Hey! You can get this at lizardlick cause that's where I personally ordered mine!

  • thanks 4 the help

  • @muk2409 No worries! =)

  • Jesus christ the TE stick is SO much easier to mod than the FSEX2. I've had to dremel, sand, solder and drill just to get everything in and working. Nice vid.

  • Thanks for the video. I'll be putting the GT-Y into my SF4-TE as soon as it arrives!

  • Awesome video, thanks for the help. I just got myself a Street Fighter TE Round 2 stick and I was having a bit of trouble working with the square gate. Getting myself an octogonal gate, now that I know how easy it is to install~

  • waiting for focus attack.com to restock so i can get one

  • @TheNoobj octagonal gate i say is better overall, feels much smoother when handling it

  • Totally gonna do this, I want an octagon!!

  • hey i just bought the SFIV MadCatz edition for KOF13, and its a square plate, I was just wondering which would u recommend a octagon GT-Y or a GT-C round one to play KOF 13? cuz the square one just wont do

  • @judegines He said "The parts that are protruding must be facing downwards"

  • i didn't get what you said at 1:45 :O

  • I've been wanting to do this avoiding it because I thought it was going to be a whole process. Looks way easy though. Definatley going to do that now, because I cannot get the hang of the square gate haha.

    You rock man, thumbs up.

  • thanks for the video, gonna be part of my femme fatale sticks mod.
