10a The Senate will be in for morning business until noon.

* At noon, the Senate is expected to take a pair of roll call votes:
1. The first will be cloture on S 493, the small business reauthorization bill. If cloture is not invoked (meaning if the vote falls short of the 60 aye votes that are required), the Senate will proceed to a second roll call vote. 2. That vote will be cloture on the nomination of John McConnell to be a U.S. District Court Judge in Rhode Island .
