  • I feel like Mr. Toyota is a good guy and that he's sincere. I believe Toyota will definitely learn and recover from this.

  • Well, I've owned many Toyotas, and will continue to buy them. They are great cars!

  • Let me guess, you like Obama and Adolf Hiter too because they were/are good at orating..

  • The 40+ dead thought they were good cars too.

  • @goldmagistrate I don't recall any recent late-model American-made cars accelerating and killing people. I also find it interesting that more and more people have turned there Toyotas back into the dealerships again for service because the FIXES that Toyota did on their cars to prevent this did NOT work. People can dismiss this problem all they want, but the problem here is Toyota has known of this problem for a long time and blamed it on 3 different things, but nothing seems right yet.

  • Where the hell is GMC's CEO and every other American brand's recalls

  • God Bless Toyota. I forgive you.

  • I do not own a Toyota and have heard ONLY GOOD things about the brand until just recently. The stress that Mr. Toyoda expresses seems sincere and I applaud his williness to "take the heat". This is a characteristic that we need more of. With such leaders I have no doubt that Toyota will solve this problem!

  • Being one of those affected by the recall, I accept his apology and trust his words.

  • I feel the same.

Toyota will learn from this and become very smart and powerful because of this and you can thank the USA for this.
