When Mideast Journalists are Forced to Keep the News to Themselves

When reporting in the closed societies of the broader Middle East, journalists are being vigilantly watched, harassed, and abused by authoritarian regimes, secret police, and media manipulators who work for terror proxies.

Their work and their safety are always at risk. Constantly intimidated and censored from reporting the truth, reporters languish in prisons or are murdered to silence a story and to remove a vital witness to important events.

On May 1 -- 3, we mark World Press Freedom Day, an event that seeks to raise awareness of the importance of freedom of the press and to remind governments, specifically in the broader Middle East, the Arab world, and North Africa, of their duty to respect and protect the journalists, and not to target and intimidate the media.

It is important that the world has a chance to see the barbarity visited upon innocent journalists, foreign and domestic, who are simply doing their jobs--opening a window to the world to the brutality used against the telling of the truth. The irony is so many of the same world's journalists do not hesitate to condemn Israel--when Israel is one of the few (only?) countries that allows them to write the truth--even when that news is skewed against Israel. Wake up world, before it is too late.

America & Israel have more in prisons for non-violent crimes & drug charges than all of China, Russia, India, & Iran combined! India has 1.2 billion. China has 1.3 billion. Israel has 11 million while America has 320 million. Despite being outnumbered 8 to 1, America & Israel have more than 2x more total prisoners. So who's really "FREE"?

Oh give me a break. There's been at least 300-400 journalists who've been murdered or "sucided" in just America the past 20 yrs. The UK too has had many murders. Let's not forget all the scientists & biologists that US, UK, and Israel have not only murdered by the dozens in their own countries, but 100's from other countries around the world. These men of integrity are murdered because they refuse to reamin silent while elite psychopaths want to depopulate.

I heard number two somewhere else. Later, when I studied Education at U of Toronto, I saw that Education was always the first: control ideology and the rest will follow.

All five can be seen across history and around the World. So three to five were easy to *observe*.
