If this is true someone needs to be held responsible. Kids being put in a locked room in their underwear is just wrong. Please go to the link and watch the interview with his mother. Please give your views on this. Just no swearing and no berating other gather members. Thanks.

@PaulinaPaulino, you seriously believe what the defense says?

School spokeswoman Sharon Kinnard" “at no time are students locked in this room” and said “there is absolutely no evidence to indicate that any student has been asked to remove his/her clothing.”
The kid is a psycho and took off his own clothing. The kid is a danger to himself and other students.
But, you using this video as a way to sell your crap is disgusting.

I would like for everyone who made the nasty negative comments to do more research on this case. You will find that all the facts are not stated and they mother is not giving all of the truth. Be careful before you judge others because you don't always know the facts of the story.

@WarInBed I understand that medical science improves day to day, but honestly, if this child does have ODD, and is that difficult a problem, why put them in school in the first place?
I'm not saying keeping these kids at home, but if you know your child has a disorder, PARENTS need to be held responsible, not just say 'Hey teacher, you deal with it, I have to go to work."

@WarInBed The problem with society is people who make blanket statements about issues they dont truly understand. Your diagnosis doesn't set precedence for everyone else with ADD or any other disorder. Autism used to be blamed on the parents too. Environmental factors such as parenting syles are ONE factor in a systemic issue. There is no linear cause to behavior disorders. Some are psychological in origin, but can be influenced by external factors like parenting and therapy.

@ryanjames731 See, this is the problem with society today. Everyone has a "condition". If you ask me, it's a lot of crap. I was "diagnosed with ADD, and I don't subscribe to it what so ever. I had trouble concentrating. I didn't need meds, special classes, just had to hunker down and actually TRY to pay attention.
Pills, special classes. Here's a thought. MAYBE the parents should try to actually discipline children rather than just understand them.

@WarInBed ODD is a diagnosable psychological disorder, it is not merely a child with problems against authority figures. There has to be marked difficulty in functioning.
