UMvC3: Live Ranked Commentary *Stagnant* 1.15.12

Welcome to another Live Ranked session of UMvC3. Here I'm talking about how the game doesn't really seem to be going anywhere in terms of progression. It seems as if the game is starting to take the form that the creators wanted, which is basically cater to the keep away style. Again, I do not have anything against players who "run away", all this means is that the game is going to become less fun for those people who like to rush down. It's going to come to a point where no one wants to run into projectiles and normals all day, so what are they going to do? Run away and throw projectiles and normals all day to avoid it.

This is just what I have seen lately online as well as on streams. I'm not complaining, I'm simply observing.

lmao Ive been having more fun with this game by using Rocket Racoon and Firebrand lmao. RR is too fun once you learn him.

@funkl3 I think a lot of people are scared to play RR since he takes damage like a laundry basket, but he's insanely small. People are most likely going to drop their high damage combos because of how small he is.

@nassaulnoal In all honesty the drop combo factor makes up for the weak life. Random supers will kill him quick, but combos almost always get dropped with him. That and it feels hilarious beating ppl with him.

@therpjonkid Sorry, but it has to be done sometimes. I mean If I just constantly rush down all I do is eat assists and normals. The game makes it hard for me to retain my rush down style from regular mvc3.

@Naizu1 Another example that shows how the game is more oriented towards run away play styles. If you don't know what to do, you can always run and get away with tons of stuff. It's becoming a game to see who is the lamest. Thanks for the comment.
