A Review: We continue our reviews of negative political attack ads. This one is a vicious Ron Paul negative attack ad against Newt Gingrich: If you like nasty, you'll love this one. If you enjoyed how the Manitoba NDP attack ads obliterated their opponents in the October 4, 2011 provincial election, then this one for 2012 U.S. politics is for you. Sometimes you see silly comments in the media as to how the political parties shouldn't run these ads, and that the public doesn't like them. Obviously that's not true, as time after time these type of ads work, and the candidates on the the receiving end of them get blown to smithereens. As attack ads go, this one rates 5*****. It has wonderful production values. As tightly produced as they come. It will be shocking to see if Gingrich can overcome these Ron Paul ads.

Negative issue-based campaigning is awesome (and I believe that there's actually some evidence in the empirical literature suggesting that negative ads are more informative than positive ones). Negative personal campaigning, however, can go into stupid areas sometimes (like the Cons fixation on Michael Ignatieff's choice of beverage).

its not a negative attack add, its simply showing what a hypocrite the newt is . hell if it were me i would point out how newt was recieving money via his ex wife from silverstein the owner of the WTC who is an israeli arms maker. no wounder he is such a zionist , he profits from Israeli weapons . newt went on the attack on paul today with flat out oies. saying nevermind all of newts money making ron paul made money from a web newsletter !
