These are "garden" spiders. They're big, but they're literally harmless. They have to be threatened to bite, and are super shy. Even if they bite, it wouldn't even be poisonous. They look scary cuz of their color, but that's what they're kind of counting on~ to scare you... cuz they're terrified of us. Best not to kill them, cuz these spiders eat wasps and stuff. Which are far worse to deal with than this spider. Fuck wasps.

@ignorgasm true a live fly thrown into the web but a live bee you'd get stung before you got the chance to throw the bee into the web
