This compelling documentary film (below) features 8 women, most whom grew up in the socially conservative environment of Eastern Idaho.

They share their stories which are compelling because they provide a rare opportunity to view the largely secret lives of LGBT Mormons.

This film does not cast judgments or explore Mormon Church doctrine, it simply provides a non-judgmental, compassionate view of the struggles facing LGBT people as they attempt to reconcile their sexual orientation with their Mormon faith.

  • creepy cult

  • I would like to just say i found this of interest, I am a lesbian woman but i dont really follow a faith but i feel drawn more to a spiritual being,

I TRUELLY believe, that no matter ya culture, colour, shape, size, sexual orientation, the point is that everyone has a Given right to follow and pray to a belief that's meaning to them,

No-one has a right to take that away from them!!! Each to their own!!

    Shame on those that do!

  • @vcomp1960 and NoAntecessor, Just to clarify, NoAntecessor was close, but you can be in the Celestial Kingdom even if you haven't been married. There are three divisions in the Celestial Kingdom and the top is only for those who have made those sacred covenants with each other and God in the temple sealing ceremony.

I am grateful that there isn't just a heaven and a hell, but that there are different levels you can achieve. Even the telestial is way better than what we have here on earth. :)

  • @GohModley I'm a lesbian and I gotta say I'm right there with ya man...I want hot lipstick lesbians :(

  • Very butch. Not a lipstick lez between them. How am I supposed to yank to this?

  • Vcomp, the highest level (celestial) is for the most valiant who also received their temple covenants (marriage and the endowment ceremony). The second level (terrestrial) is for those who were good in life but who didn't exert the greatest effort. The bottom level (telestial) is for the scumbags, so presumably all the murderers/rapists/etc would be there. Ask if you want further detail on any of it. I don't believe a word of it, but I've read all the books and jumped through all the hoops ;).

  • @Svperstarr I didn't challenge why they made th video. I made a comment of why they made the video.

  • @Whateverintheworld

Maybe they want to share their feelings? I am not a lesbian, I am a straight male but I just officially resigned from the church because I don't believe in any of it, a heaven with multiple levels and needing to do some ridiculous sealing cerermony to spend eternity together is ridulous to me.

These woman have every right to speak their mind espcially because their are so many lesibans still in mormonism and might not know where to turn too.

  • Within the celestial kindom, there are three levels? What do you have to do to go to the first level, next level, or the highest level?

  • wanted money??? are you kidding? He was among the poorest of the people in the early mormon church. time and time again he gave up his one little amount of money to help others. You obviously have not done your own research on the true facts. Before you post something get your facts right!
