Right key, actually.
People are probably getting misinterpretations because people have made good (although not precise) transcriptions of the tab for standard tuning, which youtube seems to be filled with.
I really think your version sounds the most correct; perchance the fingerings couldve been better to give certain notes more length, but overall the notes sounded correct.
Nice playing, and props for learning by ear.

whats the rite key?? higher or lower.. I play and TUNE by ear and its always harder to do it that way.. thanks for lettin me know!
