This is my first weigh in on my journey back to fit. I lost 10 lbs and 1 inch in my hips and 1 inch in my waist. I don't expect to lose 10 lbs each week nor do I base my health success on weight alone. Weight is 1 one measurement, but I'll focus on measurements (hips, waist, etc), body fat %, and other medical factors (blood pressure, glucose, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, etc.)

  • @stcywll he's giving himself a challenge as he may have been bored with his life so he wanted to change it up a little. He's also doing this for others who find it difficult to lose weight. I think its pretty inspiring. He was perfectly fit and healthy & decided he would do something for others

  • on a level do u use steroids to help rid of the fat?

  • You are less likely to buy into the "it does not matter anymore anyway" mentality. So it is actually not only the physical part getting out of shape, but the whole person. Drew will probably start shaving again by the time he gets like below 12 percent body fat as a consequence of fixed self-exteem. I do not want to offend anyone with this, but I find it worth noting. Keep up the good work, both drew and anyone following him, this is great and very courageous and inspiring.

  • It's interesting to see some of the usual implications of getting fatter. Drew had a totally shaved body when he was lean, and as soon as he got fatter he stopped taking care of that too, and now has a hairy belly. I mean, thinking about it it has nothing to do with your body fat percentage or weight per se, but I believe it can be said that if you have a commitment to becoming the fittest you can be, you are more likely to take care of other things like personal hygiene or fashion as well.

  • The reason you lost so much weight in this first week is because when you are chubby and you start dieting, for the next few weeks you will lose weight fast, but eventually your metabolism and body will adjust to the new change of activity,and it will take longer to lose the weight... But congrats nonetheless:D
