    I made syrup again this year in February, but you know Weymouth isn't exactly like Vermont or New Hampshire or Maine for syrup conditions!!!

    I'll try again next year for sure! If you have a couple of maple trees I can show you how to do it. It only works for about 3 weeks per year in Weymouth but you can make a lot of syrup if you have the time!

  • HOW MANY TREES ARE YOIU PLANNING ON TAPPING.are you going to ever get an evaporator.

  • I love the idea, but the thing is I live in suburbia (Weymouth near Boston), so I really only have two trees in my yard. Unless I walk around the neighborhood and ask to tap other people's trees I probably won't have enough sap for an evaporator :)

  • how much syrup did you make. i have a evaporator made out of brisk and its 18x48 i curently tap 100 trees and will hopefully make 25-30 gallons next year. good luck with the syrup
