Avro Vulcan XH558 at RAF Church Fenton 1992

This video is a vhs to dvd convertion,i took this video at an air show way back in 1992,it was took at RAF Church Fenton in July of the same year,so the picture quality is not that good.
The camera's in those days are not as good as they are today,i hope you like it.

Thanks once again,for the comment,i too wished the HD cameras were available in those days i think this video would have been a little bit better

There have been some great displays,i loved it at Fenton but my favourite had to be Finningley i never missed a year there i have a few video's stored on VHS from Finningley when i get the time i will try and post them up.............John

Great video. I was there, sat on my dad's roof as a mere 6 year old whilst it shook below me. Hairs on the back of the neck time. And one for the car alarms!

There are better videos of the Vulcan on you tube for obvious reasons due to technological advances etc but I always come back to this due to the nostalgia.

Fortunately, I'm old enough to remember the RAF when it was still great in my opinion. Lucky enough to see the Buccaneer, Vulcan and victor etc before their retirement. Unfortunatley, the days of a great airshow put on by the RAF are gone for me. Especially with the latest batch of government cuts.

Ahhh I remember it well. Church Fenton, Finningley and Leeming every year....all gone now. I have 92,93 and 94 footage of all those shows somewhere on VHS, must try and find them sometime.
