This song was written while I was stranded in San Carlos, Mexico with one of my best friends, Lynn. We were staying on our sail boat the Tequila Flashback. While we were there a hurricane hit and washed out all the bridges on Mexico Interstate 15 back to the USA. Both of us had to be back at work. We checked flights and it was a thousand dollars minimum. So we called our employers and explained the situation and got some extra time. We would drive out to the highway every day to see if the road was open, and every day we were told "manana amigo manana". So we came to find out that manana in Mexico does not mean tomorrow, it just means "not today" Anyway, the boat was safe in the marina, so we spent our time at a cantina called Tequila's. The owner and bartender was a pretty little local girl named Sheila. The rest is history.......
