I'm glad glad that you're giving your turtles an area to run free, but it's not good for the turtle to be on their back. It's like suffocating. It's hard for them to breath and it could kill them. Also, you should (if you haven't already) talk to a turtle specialist about their shells. Because when scutes fall off, they loose protection on their backs and can get hurt easier. Just a few tips of advice. (:

@DynamiteStudios09 Males tend to stay smaller, females will grow as large as Myrtle - there's no changing that, no matter the size of the tank. its completely natural
