Trash Picked Craftsman Table Saw

Just picked up last night. My friend said someone across the alley from his apartment building threw it out. Since i did not have my van i said i will pick it up in the morning, but my friend advised me to take it now otherwise the scrap men would get it. So we put it in the trunk of my car instead, and dropped it off at my house. Miter gage was rusted to the table top, and i had to free it loose with a plastic hammer. Saw just needed some minor electrical work to get her going. It would cut better with a hollow ground blade. If i sound drowsy it is because i have been recovering from a cold lately.

@averagemale2000 i sold it for 35 dollars AS-IS to a guy who had the same saw, but wanted a second one. Pro wood worker i guess. Sorry for the odd speech in the video since it was my first video.

Great find! ignore these dumb ass haters, can you make a video making the table unit for ti.I have a small craftsman and the table and rip fence suck I want to make a bigger table and better fence. Thanks

@Bowfinger6383 Making the table is not hard, but the thing is i never made one before. You can measure the base of the saw, and make a frame to fit then go from there.

I'm actually refurbishing a saw just like this one and I made up two wings that bolt on each side. They are each 9 inches wide and they really make the table wider.
