I was 2 years old when this was recorded (the 1973 footage)... I was literally RAISED on the music of the Oak Ridge Boys... & they are still AWESOME!!! Just love it!

this takes me back OMG to those church going days, my mother and father was in a christain band back in the day and i remember going church to church for them to perform , I myself played the piano for my local church in those days ,But I think the words to this song is beautiful.

nimajji, they actually did a lot of "black" songs. They were steeped in Adrae Crouch material and Andrae was the first major black artist to break into the "white gospel fold". Plus they could rock a primarily black audience. Search the Oak Ridge Boys video "I would crawl all the way to the river". The audience is mostly black.

wow...wow...wow...these guys truly rock!! The music is so simple but so powerful. I wish this could traverse to demographics beyond southern, white families...I really do...this music could have so much traction in black families across the nation, for eg. Simple blown away by the Boys...
