This is more experimenting on bridge hand placement.
My thought is that by placing the V (where the cue rests) just slightly to the right or left of the Center to Edge Line AND aligning the cue tip with the EDGE of the cue call you can then pivot to center cue ball and the cue stick will be perfectly aligned with where the Ghost Ball would be.
So far this seems to bear out for most shots I have tried. If this is right then I think that this is the "missing link" that reconciles CTE Aiming with the Ghost Ball method of aiming.
To be clear I am NOT saying that you should use GB and CTE together, although you could to double check if you feel confident enough to see the Ghost Ball. I don't.
BUT - Ghost Ball is geometrically perfect on paper and on the pool table. The problem is that when you play it's very difficult to imagine the Ghost Ball in teh right position all the time.
It's much easier to see the Center of the Cue Ball and the Edge of the Object Ball and stand on a line that connects those two points.
And then FROM THERE it's just a slight shift (pivot) to being dead in line with where the ghost ball WOULD be if it were real.
With CTE Aiming everyone understands the first step with no problem. Find the CTE Line. Easy.
But then things get obscure. Where to put the bridge hand down? How much to pivot? Pivot left, pivot right?
Those of us who use CTE know that it works and that it works great. Fantastic even. So much better than by "feel" or by using GB. We can make shots that previously were very hard for us, very inconsistent, and which we would avoid.
But when asked how it works we have often been at a loss to explain it. It's so different than what is taught in books that it seems like magic to those of us who use it. We get to shots and take the line that CTE gives us without knowing if it's even right. And one reason we don't know if it's right is because for most of our lives those shots have been aimed wrong using GB and we thought we were right. So now being lined up right feels wrong.
So then the opponents of CTE Aiming say that the only way it can work is if we subconsciously adjust but we who use it know that this can't be true. For a couple reasons one which is that can't really subconsciously adjust to suddenly know something we have never known before. And two it doesn't account for the misses. So we know that it MUST reconcile with Ghost Ball somehow.
I think that what I show here is very close to proving how CTE does reconcile with GB and why a person can start with the Center to Edge sighting for almost every shot and get to the right SHOT LINE in one easy movement.
Try it and see what you think. Feed back is welcome.
IF YOU JUST WANT TO SPAM ME BY TELLING HOW CRAPPY THE SYSTEM IS OR HOW BAD I PLAY THEN YOUR COMMENTS WILL BE REMOVED. Again, this is for people who are learning it and have questions. It's NOT an instructional video.
From your comment, you don't seem able to take any criticism or debate of any sort. If you put out an instructional video (if this is not instuctional as you claim, then what is?), you should expect feedback in full spectrum. "Feedback is welcome." Really? Only the positive ones? One's word is not the last word! I want to learn but I I'm indirectly/directly admonished not to agitate the waters too much. Well, so I will let the waters lie such.

@snookerhand
You misunderstood what I said. If you want to discuss technique, why I do certain things at certain times, or anything related to learning how to use this method of aiming then welcome. But if you just want to say it does not work or say I am a shitty player then that is not constructive. Yes, only positive discussion is what I want. There is no reason why I can't define and control that on my channel. I have debated this method more than you can imagine.

where you put your hand for center to edge?

@nvle5
When I come down into the shot my hand usually ends up with the knuckle of my index finger slightly to the side of the CTE line. Check my other videos where I go more into depth on this.
