This came out around the same time as 'Burnin'... Sneak & Cajmere were kickin about years before Daft Punk appeared on the scene. If anything Daft Punk were influenced by them, not the other way round. They even name checked the pair of them in 'Teachers' on the (awesome) Homework album :-)

You're right. Daft punk was sampled by guys like Cajmere or Dj Sneak, the same guys they take exemple from. ;)

Noooo!!!
Cajmere & Sneak were producing in Chicago waaay before Daft Punk, e.g. Cajmere was involved in some of the da rebels productions that came out in the 80s. Daft Punk copied the chicago sound of cutting up disco loops and filtering them over house beats added some mainstream appeal and a load of marketing and became popular.

@retrospect77 i know that Sneak and Cajmere were producing many years before Daft Punk. But for this track, Cajmere use a sample from Daft Punk : Burnin'
It's not because they produced tracks for many years that they can't sample some new artists. Daft punk were sampled by many artists. Even Sneak sampled Daft Punk (especially Thomas Bangalter) in one of his own track.
By the way, i think the filtering disco loop tracks, went from Chicago artist (Sneak, Dj Pierre), not from Daft Punk

I can see where you are coming from, probably because you may have heard Daft Punk before you became aware of Chicago house. However i think that both artists have used the same sample rather than either of them sampling each other. The way most of these tracks are made is to sample an old disco track, loop it & add some filter effects - Sneak & Cajmere/Green Velvet generally dont just sample other house tracks!

@retrospect77 It's not because i come from France, that i discover House Music with Daft Punk. I discovered Techno Music around 92 and then House around 94.......some years before Daft Punk.
The fact is they use mainly hardware for their first album, like Juno 106 and distorsion pedal for tracks like Rollin and scratchin or burnin, with some kind of filter to make to "wiiiiiiiiiii" sound.

@Housetraxx you can think that Cajmere have recerate this sound (because he used Juno 106 to in some of his old track) in this remix but i'm pretty sure he used a sample.
As i respect Chicago artists, i think they don't mind if they use disco sample or house music sample.
The music have no rules.
