Death rather than nation building - that's what the U.S. army brought to Iraq and is bringing to Afghanistan according to former army sergeant and anti-war activist Matthis Chiroux.
He shared his views on the U.S. military campaigns with RT's Marina Portnaya.
@candycane3482 - typical reply from someone in denial and enjoys continuing to live in blind deception. "conspiracy theory land?" LOL - that is funny. Anyone who has trouble putting one and one together is living a lie and is totally ignorant of reality.

@AzureHoBo I think he meant a war fought on US land - such as the Civil War. Not that there hasn't been war since then. Yes the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and that pushed us into war but was there any actual warfighting on US soil after that during WWII? I think that's what he was getting at.

@jomat4678 Yeah I know where some of the weapons came from..I'm not talking about that. You're not really even worth the time. I'm not under any deception I just don't live in conspiracy theory land.

@MrJoshya3 - this may be Russian media reporting but it is very much an "american" soldier who is stating the facts Mr. Archie Bunker. using the word "commies"?? LOL if this soldier is spilling the beans is a "socialist lie" then what do you say about Brigadier General Smedley D. Butler (War is a Racket!), State Dept. Officer Matthew Hoh and many more who have spoken out in times past against the concept of war itself? You, yourself are an "american" Jihadists & don't know it!

@candycane3482 - we are paying $3-4 a gallon for gas because of the greed of the american corporations. as far as finding chemical weapons in Iraq? LOL, don't you know that the US is the ones who sold these same weapons to Iraq during their 8 year war with Iran and we encouraged them to use them? I think they even gassed their own people (the kurds) in northern Iraq. you are under a lot of deception my friend!

@jomat4678 Holy shit dude I did read what you wrote which and you said: "this is an illegal american war in the sense...if the american people actually knew..." If the wars were about oil we wouldn't be paying $3-4 a gallon for oil. There were WMDs, we kept finding chem weapons even a few years ago. It doesn't take much and they were in Iraq. Afghanistan was because the TB wouldn't give up bin Laden. Remember - 9/11. Since we got him I think we should leave there too. Are u military?

I'm sure he would have the backing of Marine Brigadier General Smedley D. Butler who was one of the most decorated war heroes of our time. Not sure if you all ever read: "War is a Racket!" but once he came out against the government and their true intentions when it comes to war, they quickly silenced him and made him look like a kook.

@candycane3482 - did you actually read what i wrote? I said IF the american people actually knew the real reason behind these wars, they would not have allowed it. Weapons of mass destruction? where? they were supposed to be in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc? John Bolton recently disclosed in a foot in mouth comment that all these wars we have fought have been to protect our oil interest. period.

@Icix1 Um no we don't. I'm not a "willing sheep" but someone has watched too many movies. (Hint: It's you).

@cshook123 Yeah Congress can. They have to approve it. The only reason Obama got away with Libya is because there weren't ground troops involved. He worked around Congress but it's supposed to be that way.
